I didn't make obento for myself today either. There's a lot of random food around here since it's just about time to go shopping, but there's not really enough to make two people a whole lunch without taking up way too much of my time. I'll probably just have some miso and leftovers. :)



In the box: sandwich made with turkey deli meat, Jarlsberg cheese, and green leaf lettuce with honey mustard on 12-grain whole wheat bread, blanched green beans, and a sliced turkey sausage. In the top tier of the bowl: dragonfruit pieces, mandarin orange slices, green and yellow mini tomatoes, and red currants. In the bottom tier: miso paste (in plastic wrap), green onions, a shiitake mushroom, and some aburaage (fried tofu) pieces.

This is going to be the main meal of the day since we're going to be out at dinner time and will only have time for a snack.
